LGBTQ people face unique safety challenges — from hate crimes to mass violence — yet we’re often left out of traditional safety training spaces. Our organization is changing that.

We provide trauma first aid training to equip individuals with lifesaving medical skills in crisis situations. We also teach mass shooter awareness and home defense strategies to help our community stay alert and prepared. And for those who are considering owning a firearm, or who choose to carry, we offer inclusive, comprehensive firearms education and concealed carry certification courses, without judgment or politics.

We aim to empower the LGBTQ community with the confidence, knowledge, and tools to protect ourselves and each other. Because safety isn’t a privilege — it’s a right.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals

The Concealed Carry course is more than just firearms training — it’s about reclaiming personal safety and empowering LGBTQ individuals to take control of their own protection. In a supportive, inclusive environment, you’ll learn the fundamentals of firearm safety, responsible carry practices, conflict avoidance, and the legal aspects of self-defense. Whether you’re new to firearms or seeking certification for concealed carry, this course equips you with the skills and confidence to protect yourself and those you love. Because self-defense isn’t just a right — it’s a vital part of survival and dignity in a world where our safety isn’t always guaranteed.

Home Defense is designed to help LGBTQ individuals create a personalized, proactive plan for keeping themselves and their loved ones safe where it matters most — at home. This course covers everything from setting up a layered home security strategy to using defensive tools safely and effectively, with a strong focus on situational awareness, de-escalation, and legal responsibility. Whether you live alone, with chosen family, or in a shared space, this training empowers you to take control of your safety with confidence, clarity, and care. Because your home should be a sanctuary — and you’re worth defending.

Emergency First Aid Fundamentals

This course empowers LGBTQ individuals to become first responders for their chosen families and communities. You’ll learn how to assess injuries and provide critical care in those first vital minutes — when every second counts. From treating life-threatening bleeding and shock to managing chest and spinal trauma, broken bones, and more, this course gives you the knowledge and confidence to save lives and protect the people you care about most. Because in our community, we take care of each other — and being prepared is an act of love and resistance.
